Hautapu Sports to contest Premier and Colts grades at Waikato Club Sevens

Hautapu Sports will have teams in the Premier and Colts grades at the Waikato Club Rugby Sevens to be held at Memorial Park on Saturday November 9.

The Premier team will compete in Pool B of their division, with University of Waikato, Morrinsville Sports, Hamiton Marist and Matamata Sports.

Pool A consists of Hamilton Old Boys, Otorohanga, Fraser Tech, Te Awamutu Sports and Melville.

Hautapu’s first game is against Hamilton Marist, at 9.40am.

In the Colts’ competition, four teams will take part with Hautapu joining Hamilton Old Boys, Suburbs and University.

Hautapu Colts play their first game at 10.40am, against Hamilton Old Boys.

During the day-long tournament, 29 men’s and women’s teams will take part in games that start at 9.30am, with finals starting at 2pm.

Play is expected to wind up at 4.20pm
