ROUND-UP: Hautapu Goal Diggers land biggest win of weekend’s senior netball

Here’s our weekly round-up of results from Hautapu Sports’ senior netball teams playing in the Saturday and Monday competitions.

The Hautapu Goal Diggers came up with the weekend’s biggest win, beating TVP Black 40-11 in their A Grade competition on Saturday.

In the Premier Reserve grade, the Hautapu Hawks lost 42-35 to Leamington, while the Hautapu Hustlers lost 45-29 to Harlequins.

Hautapu Hots Shots lost another game by a tight margin, losing their A Grade (section A) match 29-21 to Leamington, a week after being edged 23-21 by Harlequins.

In Monday’s Premier competition, Snap Fitness Hautapu Red’s game against Otorohanga was postponed due to a power cut at the St Peter’s Cambridge venue.

Senior netball takes a break over King’s Birthday Weekend and resumes on Saturday June 7, and Monday June 9.
