Hautapu Sports’ Waisake Salabiau makes debut for Waikato in rugby’s NPC

Winger Waisake Salabiau has become the 10th Hautapu Sports player to represent Waikato in this year’s Bunnings National Provincial Championship.
Pre-match injuries within the squad gave Salabiau his chance to make his debut in Waikato’s round nine match against Canterbury at Apollo Projects Stadium, Christchurch.
The match was won 36-19 by Canterbury.
